SIR NOW (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a neck, over 5½f at Murray Bridge. Will find this much tougher but he is a leading contender. KLABEL (1) finished third two runs back at Ballarat then improved last time out to score by a nose over 6f in the LR Christmas Hcp at this track. Jake Toeroek scored on him last time and retains the ride. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. PRAIRIE FLOWER (9) has been freshened since finishing fifth over 6f in the LR Christmas Hcp at this track. Filled a placing in a recent Strathalbyn trial. Serious threat. SGHIRRIPA (2) last appeared when he finished 11th over 7f in the LR Testa Rossa Stakes at Caulfield on November 29. Has to be respected.
