Should be poised just off the lead. Will prove tough to beat. DAMELLI (7) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by one length over 5¼f at Morphettville. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. STAR COMPASS (4) finished in the money at each run this campaign before a deserved win last time over 6f at Warrnambool. Blinkers are removed. Should run well.
