SACHEM (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks. Will prove tough to stop. ENTRUSTING (1) finished 4 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at Bendigo when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in distance. Settles back early but winds up late. One of the leading chances. FINALE (9) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just half a length from the winner in second over 7½f at Mornington. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. LOMAX (4) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 1m1f. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
