Race Tip

SAVATOFF (3) was a gutsy winner last time over 1m at Strathalbyn, scoring by 1.3 lengths to make it two wins in a row. Has a strong association with Jake Toeroek who has been in the saddle for his last two wins. Best form puts him right in this. INAUGURAL (4) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 0.7 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 7f at Morphettville Parks. Watch for another barnstorming finish. GURU WARRIOR (6) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when 13th over 6f at this track after he settled well back. Cherry-ripe now and is among the main hopes. COCKATOO ROSE (12) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 0.6 lengths over 6¾f at Strathalbyn. Open to plenty of improvement and must be included.
