TALISAY (8) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 2.25 lengths over 7½f at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and looms as the one to beat again. TROPICAL HOUSE (10) bounced back last start and landed the prize by 4 lengths as public elect over 1m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. MAKALU (4) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 3 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m at Moonee Valley. His record at this journey is sound so a bold run is likely. WINE BARRON (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks, beaten 0.7 lengths into fourth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
