REGAL SECRET (6) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic, an improvement on her seventh at Sandown-Hillside the run before. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. BLANC VISAGE (10) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when ninth, beaten 8 lengths, over 5½f at Morphettville after she travelled towards the rear of the field. Should be peaking now and can find peak form this time. BRISTLER (2) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 5¼f at Morphettville then fought on gamely to finish second. Likely improver with winning claims. MT NISEKO (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 13th over 5f at Bendigo. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question.
