SUZIDO (1) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish seventh, beaten 5 lengths, over 5½f at Bordertown. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. SIOUX WARRIOR (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten one length when seventh over 4½f at Murray Bridge two weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. GOLD SPIRIT (3) bounced back last start and got the job done by a nose as public elect over 4½f at Murray Bridge. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SIR LEAPALOT (6) turned in an eye-catching run last time out over 4½f at Murray Bridge, charging home from well back to finish a nose away in second. Anna Jordsjo has registered four minor placings when on board. One of the better hopes.
