PUDDING (1) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish ninth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1m1f at Sandown-Hillside. Likely to take some running down. TEST THE LAW (2) finished seventh last start over 1m2f at Murray Bridge after racing on the pace for much of the way. Expected to be in this for a long way. GOTTABESAVVY (6) was below his best last time, finishing 11th and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1m1f at Sandown-Hillside. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. MAGNETIC EDGE (7) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 1m1f at Morphettville. Likely to be there at the finish again.
