FIRE WHEEL (11) could only manage fifth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Benalla, beaten only 0.7 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. ROCK THE BAR (3) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at Caulfield Heath with a win over 7f122yards at Geelong six-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of another big performance. STARLITE VALLEY (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¼f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. JUST LIKE LISA (7) is backing up seven days after she was safely held in fifth over 1m at Morphettville against better opposition. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
