BAD DETECTIVE (1) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Strathalbyn two starts back then landed the prize by 5 lengths as public elect last time out over 7¾f at this track. Jason Holder scored on him last time and retains the mount. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. KUSHAN KHANIVALE (9) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 28 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 7f at Murray Bridge, beaten 1.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. BULLET WING (2) could only manage ninth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Penola, beaten only a head. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SAINT MICHAEL (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Morphettville, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
