TIPPA (2) produced a solid effort last time when third over 1m in the LR Balaklava Cup. Well placed over the longer journey. The one to beat. ON THE SCENT (10) stuck on well last start to finish second over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks after showing good early speed. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. Group 3 placegetter CRIMSON VINE (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f148yards at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but with added fitness she is capable of a big performance. MOTORACE (12) has been kept fresh since picking up a minor prize over 1m3 1/4f at Morphettville Parks. Should be right up to the mark after a recent Strathalbyn trial. Expected to give a good account.
