BACK IN ACTION (1) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1m3f at Bendigo. Is very effective at this distance with two wins from 10 runs. Ticks all the right boxes. CHARM SLINGA (11) could only manage fifth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1 3/4f at this track, beaten only 0.9 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KARAKA KIWI (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1f at Morphettville, beaten only 1.2 lengths. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CARISBROOK (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
