LA VELOCITA (3) was unplaced on debut then last start finished second over 5½f at Pakenham. Faces an easier assignment so she is perfectly placed to score. LE NOTRE (4) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 6f at Cranbourne, making it two minor placings in a row. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Has the class to take this out. SASSIDORA (7) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at Yarra Valley, beaten only a nose after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. HEAD CAPITALIST (2) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Kyneton. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
