BAZABALL REWARDED (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Seymour. Launched last prep with a minor placing at this track over 6f. Looks up to the mark following a trial win at Mornington. Rates highly and is a strong chance to break through. DOC'S NIPPER (2) missed the frame on debut then improved last time when 0.8 lengths away in third over 5½f at Sale. Has a strong finish. Has upside and will be right in this. TORONESS (9) resumed three weeks ago over 6f at Warracknabeal and was only beaten 2 lengths into eighth. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
