HAIKU STAR (8) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by one length when resuming last time out over 5f at Tamworth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MRS ED (12) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 5f at Queanbeyan after she was in contention on the corner. Has never been out of the placings at the third run in and is among the leading chances.
