SPLENDORA (7) won last start over 1m1/2f in the G2 Shawnee Stakes at Churchill Downs (Dirt), making it three victories from four appearances this campaign. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Best figures should see her run well. ALPINE PRINCESS (6) has been kept fresh since finishing sixth over 1m1f in the G1 Ogden Phipps Handicap at Saratoga (Dirt) six weeks ago. Was a determined winner two starts back. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Will give a great sight. DRY POWDER (3) scored by 0. 8 lengths last start in stakes class at this track (Dirt) over this distance after she was in the firing line on the bend. Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from four starts. Tougher assignment this time but looks up to the task. NERAZURRI (5) showed good early speed over 1m1f at Listed level at Thistledown (Dirt) last time and went on to salute by 5 lengths. Not to be discounted.
