COSMIC YEAR (7) is a four-year-old import having his first run for the Chad C Brown yard. Last appeared when third over 7f in the G2 Challenge Stakes at Newmarket (Rowley) eight months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly for the new connections but he can kick off with a win. NEAT (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when 11th, beaten 14 lengths, over 1m at Listed level at Laurel Turf (Turf) after he travelled towards the rear of the field. SAND PIPES (2) finished 4. 5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1m1/2f at Keeneland Turf, an improvement on his fifth at Fairgrounds Turf the run before. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. VERSUS (6) finished third last time over 1m1f at Keeneland Turf (Turf) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 4 lengths. This is the right race and can get the job done.
