THE COMEDIAN (4) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished fifth over 5½f at Sale, beaten 2. 25 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. SOMETHINGS BURNIN' (10) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish 11th at the latest run over 7f in the G3 The TL Baillieu Handicap at Rosehill. Should present well following a recent trial win. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. TAUTO BAR (11) showed good speed and fought on for second over 6f at Wodonga last time. Will find this a little tougher but can measure up. TANABATA (14) has not raced since her debut back on April 27 when she finished seventh over 5½f at Randwick Kensington. Worth following up.
