SILVER PLEDGE (1) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 1m2f at Wangaratta. Has the ability to figure prominently. FURTHEREST POINT (2) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 1. 5 lengths away in fourth over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong. One to watch for in the closing stages. PHANTOM'S CHASE (7) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1m3f at Donald, beaten 1. 75 lengths. That followed a win at Donald the start prior. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. THREE REEL ROSES (9) ran a better race last start, finishing 5 lengths away in fourth over 1m4f at Bendigo. Finds a nice race and can atone.
