COVERT MISSION (1) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing in the placings over 5f at Sandown-Hillside three-and-a-half months ago. Trialling well leading into this. Sure to go well. SALARIA (14) will find this a little easier than her third on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten 2 lengths at the end of 5f at Pakenham. Has plenty of upside so she is among the leading chances. CHISHOLM (8) finished third when resuming at Newcastle then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fourth at Orange over 5f when beaten 1. 5 lengths. Should be parked just off the speed.
