ALMA RISE (4) is a talented mare who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 6 lengths behind Sayedaty Sadaty over 1m4f in the G3 Bendigo Cup. This looks a more suitable assignment. HOWLIN' RAIN (5) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m at Mornington. Will be a major player again. GLENTANEOUS (2) returned from a break last start with a less than impressive seventh over 1m2 1/4f in the G3 JRA Cup at Moonee Valley after travelling back in the field from the outset. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. REGAL LION (6) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by one length over 1m2f at Mortlake. Will be doing his best work late.
