Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. MICKIO (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Kyneton over 1m6f after being in contention all the way. Nicely placed to find winning ways. TURFIE (9) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Kilmore. Less impressive last time out when sixth over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, beaten 4 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. . Turned in a better run last time when fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths, at Werribee over 1m3f. Backmarker who keeps coming. Deserves respect on best figures.
