INJAIR (4) is yet to break through in eight runs but wasn't far away last time when second over 6f at this track on June 3. Close to a win and gets his chance here. FALL OF ROME (3) bounced straight into a handy position from the inside draw before finishing fourth last time out over 5f at Seymour. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. ZE BEE NINE (7) finished 1.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6f at Mornington, an improvement on his eighth at Sale the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. POWER AVENUE (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Ballarat, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the class to produce a better result.
