SALASSI (1) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/4f at Murtoa, beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to get the prize. NAMA DUDE (2) made it four minor placings in a row last start when third over 1m2 1/2f at Ballarat Synthetic after being in contention all the way. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. HAWKEYEDHOST (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 10 lengths away in seventh over 1m4f at Swan Hill after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. BLACK MARMALADE (8) was beaten 13 lengths into seventh in a 1m2 3/4f contest at Gawler at her latest appearance. No surprise to see her in contention.
