Looks to be in good order after placing in a trial. Likely to be in the finish. WILKIE (6) returns after seven months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 5¾f at Nhill. Has ability and is a solid chance. SON OF A BLONDE (1) finished off last campaign with a fifth over 5f at Deniliquin on April 25 and has since switched trainers. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including four minor placings from five starts. Sure to be competitive. MUFFIN TOP (2) is facing the starter for the first time. By Sepoy and hails from the Cindy Brander stable. Trialling in good style and looks forward enough. Worth watching for a betting push.
