DAWN RETREAT (5) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 6f at Roebourne, beaten 1. 75 lengths after he did his best work late. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. TORQUED UP (1) started at 6/1 last time on the back of a win at Roebourne two starts ago but was below his best, finishing fifth over 6½f at Port Hedland. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. KIA ORA TATOU (3) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a long neck from the winner in third over 6f at Roebourne after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can take the next step and salute. LADY CABERNET (4) finished 6 lengths behind the winner in sixth over 6½f at Port Hedland last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Settles back early but winds up late. Solid claims on best form.
