PRINCE TIKEA (7) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at Pinjarra with success over 1m3/4f at Kalgoorlie three weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to cope. AL MAGICO (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 5 lengths when fifth in a 6f contest at Port Hedland two weeks ago. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. MONEY FOR OLD ROPE (5) is a last-start winner over the shorter trip of 7f at Roebourne, getting home by a long neck. Down in the weights this time so he is one of the main contenders. GRECE LIGHTNING (6) turned in a modest performance when second last time out over 1m at Port Hedland, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at Port Hedland at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
