Was prominent throughout and finished 1. 75 lengths from the winner in second last start over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to take this out. KHALI J (5) is a distance specialist who has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 6f at this track (Dirt) when she was prominent throughout. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CANADIAN BEAR (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh in a 1m1/4f contest at this track three weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. J RIVERS (4) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the J L Radosevich stable. Hasn't raced since finishing ninth at Churchill Downs (Dirt) four months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Can run a bold race.
