OKLAHOMA JOE (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 6f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Angel I Diaz gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Nicely placed to find winning ways. DARK VADER (6) did a great job to score by 0. 3 lengths over this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. No reason he cannot salute again. WETZEL (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fourth in a 1m contest at this track a month ago after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. NEED TO KNOW BASIS (7) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 4 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has a good record here at this journey with two wins and four minor placings from nine starts. Has to be respected.
