GROUP EIGHTEEN (1) scored two runs back then was well in commission last time but could only manage to finish fifth over the same trip at this track (Dirt) after he had travelled in a rearwards position. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. STAR SHOPPING (6) has switched yards since finishing sixth a week ago over 6½f at Turfway Park. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SEE SPOT RUN (5) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Luis A Gonzalez gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Likely improver with strong prospects. SLIPPERY WHEN WET (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1m. Sure to be in the mix.
