Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. STAR SHOPPING (6) has switched yards since finishing sixth a week ago over 6½f at Turfway Park. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SEE SPOT RUN (5) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Luis A Gonzalez gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Likely improver with strong prospects. SLIPPERY WHEN WET (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1m. Sure to be in the mix.
