TESHIMA (2) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Jay P Bernardini barn. Hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Charles Town (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Can make a winning return. QUICK RECOVERY (5) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at this track (Dirt) two starts back then scored by 5 lengths as favourite last time out over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Stepping up a level this time but on current form she is one of the key runners. KANTBACKOFF (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 9 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. PACIFIC VIEW (1) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs including a third most recently over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when beaten one length. Must be included in calculations.
