BOOGIE BOOGEE (5) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was beaten 14 lengths into fifth over 6f at this track. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness she is capable of testing her rivals. COWCHI (1) settled towards the rear and failed to make significant inroads in the straight last start when fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over this course and distance. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running a bold race. WEEKENDING (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 9 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
