MR LAOBAN (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 15 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1m1/4f at this track. Nicely placed to test this line-up. PLAYING BALL (2) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 12 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). This is a nice drop in grade so he is perfectly placed to score. WHEN IN ROME (5) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only 0.3 lengths into second at this track (Dirt) over 5½f. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Sure to be competitive. KALINBA (6) returned from a lay-off a week ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 5½f at this track. Fitter and sure to run well.
