Expecting a bold showing. UNCUT GEM (4) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5¼f at Rockhampton, beaten 5.5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RAVENITE (11) did a great job to score by a long neck over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Has the ability to take this out. AMBERINGER (8) was beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth in a 6f contest at Rockhampton at her latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
