DAWN EMBERS (5) was in commission second up last start and was in the frame for the second time in as many runs this prep, finishing third over 6f at Rockhampton. Big chance to break through. RUM RUMBLE (4) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at Rockhampton, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. EXTREMELY FRILLY (1) was well fancied last start over 7½f at Cairns when second, beaten 4.5 lengths. Rates well and the winkers comes off for this. Bold showing expected. RAVENITE (3) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 6f at this track after he got a long way back in the run. This looks a nice race so expect him to finish closer.
