TOOTHLESS (6) is a half-brother to the high class Sceau Royal and was in fine form at Windsor on New Years Day when winning by 3L. Has run well on soft ground in the past and must be respected for Paul Nicholls. RODNEY (1) arrives seeking a hat-trick following a 4L success at Hereford. This looks more competitive and requires improvement. TAX FOR MAX (5) was no match for Toothless at Windsor but is expected to improve on this second start over fences. CHARLES RITZ (3) jumped and travelled well at Southwell in December and can't be ruled out in what looks a good race for the grade. Requires a market check.
