Race Tip

BAYOU TIME (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 5f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. SHRED IT UP (6) missed the placings on debut two runs back then settled well back last start when 36 lengths away in ninth over 1m at Evangeline Downs. Has the class to figure prominently. ALOTLIKECHOCOLATE (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 15 lengths, over 6f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. GARY P (7) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 7½f at Delta Downs (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
