LADY STAR (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7½f at Evangeline Downs Turf, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MISCHIEVOUS CINDY (6) returned from a lay-off five weeks ago when she was beaten 11 lengths into sixth over 1m at Evangeline Downs Turf. Strips fitter and can bounce back. BACK STREET BABY (3) finished third last time over 7½f at this track (Turf) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2. 25 lengths. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within her grasp. CAVA DE ORO (1) broke her maiden last start over 6f at Louisiana Downs (Dirt), scoring by 3. 5 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Elio J Barrera was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
