LOUISIANA STAR (4) is a six-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth after being in contention on the bend at his latest appearance over 1m at this track (Turf). This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. COLLECT NOW (2) did a good job when fresh from a break but found one better over 5½f at Louisiana Downs. Having his first run on a turf track. Improvement to come after the when resuming run and expected to run well if he repeats the last effort. LIL HENRY (5) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished seventh over 1m at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Nicely placed and can get off the mark. EXAGGERIFIC (6) returns from a long lay-off and tackles a turf track for the first time. Opened last campaign with a eighth at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) over 4½f. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
