GOLDEN BANDIT (8) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Fairgrounds. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 1m1/4f at Fairgrounds, beaten 27 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MARKS PROMISE (4) started favourite last time but found a couple better over 5f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Will appreciate the extra ground. Should be in the finish again. LOST DA VINCI (1) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished third, beaten 2. 25 lengths, over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Placed to advantage so expect a big run. TRESILLIAN (7) resumes from a lay-off of three months and is having his first outing under new trainer Matt Lorefice. Finished eighth at Lone Star Park Turf (Turf) over 5f at the opening run last time in work.
