COBOCH (2) had a bit on his rivals last time with an impressive 8 lengths win over 7f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from three starts. Best form puts him right in this. FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER (6) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 7 lengths when eighth over 1m1/2f at Lone Star Park Turf a week-and-a-half ago. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him. WOLF MAN JACK (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 15 lengths away in seventh over 1m at Evangeline Downs Turf. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. ROARING RAPIDS (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Lone Star Park Turf, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
