Winning rider Isaac Castillo retains the mount. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form he is right in contention. PACIFICISLANDTIME (7) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when sixth, beaten 10 lengths, over 1m1/2f in Listed grade at this track (Dirt). The engagement of Jose I Rodriguez is a positive move. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. POP'S PEPPYSTEPER (2) ran below expectations last time at Evangeline Downs (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
