SMALL TOWN HEROINE (2) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a nose away in second over 1m at this track (Turf) after being in contention all the way. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. CLEARLY BELLA (7) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 7½f at this track (Turf), finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. TRUE CHIEF (4) was beaten 16 lengths into fourth over 6½f at Evangeline Downs last time out. Better than recent efforts suggest.
