Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. HEAVENLY DEAL (6) won at this track and distance at his last outing ten weeks ago. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. SUMMERTIME PEPPERS (3) finds it hard to win with two victories from 28 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 7f at Evangeline Downs. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. SAUCY ARGUMENT (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1m1/4f. Sure to be in the mix.
