DRUM BUNNY (5) is returning from a lay-off of 14 months. Finished fifth at Golden Gate Fields (Synthetic) over 4½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Jonathan Wong. Well-placed and looks ready to fire. MISTER DENNIS (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth over 6f at this track four weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. BLACK CLOUD (4) turned in a modest performance when sixth last time out over 5f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. STATLER (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 13 lengths into sixth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
