BROADWAY PEARL (8) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being prominent at the bend over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten half a length. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is good enough to play a major role. SIKARA SIKARA (3) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at this track (Turf) two starts back then landed the prize by 0.3 lengths as favourite last time out over 1m at this track (Turf). Looks well placed so expect another big run. DARLING JOANNA (2) is back at the races for the first time since September 24. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 7½f at this track. Looks a strong top-three prospect. SMART IZZY (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only one length over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt). Can figure in the finish.
