SAM'S PROMISE (1) built on a nice third when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) with a win over 7f at this track (Dirt) seven weeks ago, getting home by 8 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. INTO WISHING (6) finished midfield at his first run back from a lay-off last start, beaten 8 lengths over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Will make his presence felt. CHEZ WHIZ (4) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 5½f at Evangeline Downs. That followed a win at Will Rogers Downs the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
