Resumes after filling a minor placing at his latest outing nine weeks ago at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic). Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Can kick off with a win. Lay-off and improved nicely to finish third, beaten 8 lengths, over 5f at this track. Sound run last time and will be hard to beat. SALT SPRAY (5) is a handy type who resumes after a break of five months. Only appeared once last prep when he finished fifth over 5f at Delta Downs (Dirt), beaten 3 lengths. Goes well when fresh including a win and two minor placings. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One to consider. HOWARD'S GRIT (3) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 27 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to find some form.
