APOLITICAL VENOM (3) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1f80yards at Evangeline Downs (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Has the ability to build on that encouraging effort last start. FREIGHTLICIOUS (7) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1f31yards at this track (Dirt). This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. JMG GOLD ME PERRY (4) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of nine weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1f130yards at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. CANDY SCHEME (1) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Adalberto Miranda yard. Finished off last campaign with a fifth at Lone Star Park (Dirt) ten weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Can return with a bold run.
