I AM A PATRIOT TOO (8) was well fancied last time and finished a close second over 1f180yards at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) to remain a maiden. Close to a win and gets her chance here. RUNNIN GOLD HEART (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1f80yards at Evangeline Downs after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Tackling a more suitable race so he is a major player. AN AMERICA EAGLE (3) is back after a break of three months. At the last run before the layoff she finished tenth over 1f80yards at Lone Star Park (Dirt). Nicely placed and can get off the mark. JESS CHEER FOR ME (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 1.75 lengths away in fifth over 1f130yards at Evangeline Downs. Well placed to turn things around.
